New Festival Commercial Director

Play a pivotal role in shaping the New Festival that will take place in winter 2020. The New Festival Commercial Director’s primary purpose is to develop and implement a New Festival commercial strategy to maximise revenue and meet income targets.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the New Festival Commercial Director is responsible for design and delivery of a commercial strategy to generate non-government revenue, including philanthropic and sponsorship income, ticket sales and commercial partnerships revenue for the New Festival.

New Festival Transition Project Manager

Join our New Festival Transition Team as the Project Manager. The primary purpose of the role is to co-ordinate development of the festival framework/blueprint and implementation plan, which will include the structural, administrative and strategic tasks required for transition. The Project Manager will support the Transition Team and ensure swift and accurate communication on progress to the Steering Committee.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the New Festival Transition Project Manager is responsible for delivering (with the rest of the Transition Team) the smooth transition from the current Melbourne International Arts Festival to the New Festival.

New Festival Producer

Be a key member of the New Festival Delivery Team as the Producer. The Delivery Team is responsible the planning, evaluation, development, negotiation and contracting of the New Festival program and for executing all production elements of the New Festival and related events.

The Producer’s primary purpose is to support the Executive Producer in scoping and managing components of the New Festival as programming is identified. This includes exploring venue options (indoor and outdoor), permitting requirements, risk considerations and creative thinking to build unique and bold initiatives.
