The event will go ahead in the event of drizzle or light rain, so check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. In the event of severe weather posing a risk to the safety of guests, Melbourne International Arts Festival will contact ticket holders to advise them of possible postponement or cancellation, and the next steps.
Limited street parking is available on Birdwood Avenue but we recommend you take public transport or ride-share, as parking will be at a premium on the event nights.
The Shrine of Remembrance stop is the closest to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Be sure to plan your journey with Public Transport Victoria as road works may affect your journey.
You can purchase a ticket for entry at 7.30PM, 8.30PM or 9.30PM session. There is no specific performance as the event is designed to be experienced at your own pace.

The path is wheelchair accessible however there are some inclines which manual wheelchairs may require assistance with.
No alcoholic drinks can be brought into the event, however drinks can be purchased on site before you enter.
This is a promenade event so please do not bring eskies or picnics. Food will be available for purchase on site before you enter, and Jardin Tan will be open for dinner reservations.

Yes there will be bike parking on site.
The experience is designed to be walked through, so no chairs are allowed.
Fire Gardens is suitable for all ages and kids 2 years of age and under are free. All other children require a ticket.
No cloaking facilities will be supplied, so please travel light.
